Be sure to have a wee cuppa in the most westerly cafe on the British mainland, and maybe some cake and ice cream too. Teas, coffee and other drinks are served in the Stables Coffee Shop, a charming restored stable with original cobbled floor and stone walls. As well as housing the coffee shop, the old stables block has a small shop selling locally themed crafts and souvenirs and is also the ticket office for tours up to the top of Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and to the exhibition centre.

Watch out for sea life including orca, basking sharks and even otters from the lookout point below the foghorn whilst you charge yourself up for the return drive home.

As well as a cafe, the Kilchoan Community Centre has toilet and shower facilities, tourist information and a small gift shop as well as acting as a doctors' surgery and hub for the local community. A great place to grab a quick takeout to take on the ferry to Tobermory from the nearby ferry terminal in Kilchoan.
