The Ardnamurchan Campsite is situated just outside the Village of Kilchoan on the southern coast of The Ardnamurchan Pennsula on croft land sloping gently down to the sea shore. The campsite has 25 terraced pitches, nine of which are located just above high water mark allowing you to attune to the rhythm of the coast. Electric hook up is available on several of the pitches. There is a shower block, fridge and washing up facilities on site and information about the local area is provided in the recreation/study room. The campsite provides free Wifi though 4G mobile coverage is also available to EE network subscribers.

Watch out for wild fowl on the wee tidal lochan in front of Lochan nan al campsite during the spring and early summer months. Translated from Gaelic as The Small Loch of Broods, this is a good place to look for otters too throughout the year. Kilchoan, with a hotel and bar is a pleasant 15 minute walk away as are the ancient standing stones of Greadal Fhinn and the historic ruins of St Comghan's Church.

The Lochan nan al campsite has pitches for 20 tents and 9 level hard standing pitches for motor homes and caravans up to 15m in length. Electric hookups are available for motorhomes. Shower and toilet facilities are available next to the nearby Ferry stores and cost £1 per shower…
