Lochan nan al Campsite
Watch out for wild fowl on the wee tidal lochan in front of Lochan nan al campsite during the spring and early summer months. Translated from Gaelic as The Small Loch of Broods, this is a good place to look for otters too throughout the year. Kilchoan, with a hotel and bar is a pleasant 15 minute walk away as are the ancient standing stones of Greadal Fhinn and the historic ruins of St Comghan's Church.
The Lochan nan al campsite has pitches for 20 tents and 9 level hard standing pitches for motor homes and caravans up to 15m in length. Electric hookups are available for motorhomes. Shower and toilet facilities are available next to the nearby Ferry stores and cost £1 per shower which is a donation to the local West Ardnamurchan Jetty Association. Please see website for full details.
