Nc'nean Distillery

Nc'nean is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, meaning The Queen of Spirits in Gaelic. This young distillery has been producing whisky spirit since March 2017 and has a range of Botanical spirits for sale based on the unaged whisky spirit. Like Neachneohain, a fierce protector of nature, the distillery has high environmental ambitions and was the first fully organic distillery in Scotland.

Nc'nean Distillery is open for morning and afternoon tours Monday-Friday where you can taste the evolving spirit and enjoy coffee, cake and the views over The Sound of Mull. Tours must be booked in advance and cost £15 pp (2020). If you are staying on The Isle of Mull you can travel to Drimnin via the once weekly Sealink water taxi from Tobermory during the summer months.
